does any1 work out BEFORE work?

i am contemplating working out at 6 in the morning, b4 my morning shower and going to work?? i heard it helps u stay more alert during the day, curbs appetitte plus it is one less thing to do when im exhausted when i get home...i just dont know if ill have the stregth when i first wake up..does any1 work out when they first wake up?

i SO wish i had that motivation! i personally cant find it in me to get that started....but i know someone who religiously gets up at 4 am to work out before work and she loves it because she feels great all day and doesnt have to worry about it at night. i guess if you can start the pattern, it could be great! good luck!

i work out before work. the gym is in the building. i'm at the gym by 730. i workout for about 1 hour then i hit the shower quickly. i do feel more alive when i workout in the morning.

yes I go to the gym at 530 am before work I LOVE IT

I do, but I dont have to be at work until 10, so it's not that bad. When I had to be at work at 9 (when I lived in NY) I would get up about 6:45 to be at the gym between 7 or 7:15. It makes you feel like you've accomplished something major before you even get to work and the gym is nice and quiet!

we just joined a workout room in our building and I am going to try to get down there for a half hour workout in the morning before my shower

I got to the gym at 5:30am and love it...it's so quiet and calm it's a great way to wake up. I definitely feel better the whole day!!!

I wish I could crawl out of bed at 5:30 I hit my alarm at 7:00 for those extra 5 minutes. Then rush around like a chicken with no head. I didnt keep my New Years resolution. I wanted to work out. Never going to happen the way I am going. Every night hubby is in bed and I crawl into bed and lie on my back and think of doing sit-ups but dont even have the energy for that.

I used to -- right before the wedding. I'd be at the gym by 6am and out by 7am. It was the best feeling in the world to be DONE with your workout that early in the am. But I lived literally a MINUTE away from the gym, now that I moved, it's not so close and not so easy

Working out in the AM is the best thing to speed up your metabolism!!

Sometimes. My work has a gym and locker rooms with showers and I get in at 8:30...so, I try to hit the gym. I feel like it def. gives me more energy for the day..

NO. I couldn't get up early enough to do it, shower and make my train. I prefer working out in the early evening.

I couldn't work out in the morning before work because when i go to work i have to be there at 6:30 am thank god right now that i am off from work till jan 24 i can do all of that.

The only way I can work out in the AM is if I rolled over and Gym was next to me. Unfortunately my DH's name is Brian so no gym for me!

I have enough trouble getting ready for work now...I hit snooze too many times....
