a toshiba laptop and how do you like it ? would you buy that brand again,? I am just wondering because I bought one on Friday for a Christmas gift.

Dave's parents recently got one - they like it. I used it for a short while - the screen was GORGEOUS and VERY crisp!

i had a toshiba satellite that crapped out on me after six months. I think it may have been a virus or something b/c it was highly rated and that's why i got it.
i got a sony vaio and i'm a big fan of that and no issues so far

I had the same thing happen to me with my Toshiba Satelite. It was under warranty so they fixed it for free. They couldn't figure out what the problem was so they replaced pretty much everything on my computer., from motherboard to ram to software. It was like getting a brand new computer when I got it back. :lol The only bad thing was I was laptopless for 3 months during my wedding planning process and I lost all the wedding information that I had saved. Good think DH backed up most of my important documents. Since they fixed the problem it has been great! No problems and I love it!
