FH and I are thinking about getting it because our cable company s-u-c-k-s. Any downsides to Direct TV???

i love it, great picture quality..... some people say that it goes out sometimes with wind or rain... but the only time this happens it is outfor like 20 seconds then it comes back....
at FH's we have IO from cable and the screen constantly freezes, certain channels like channel 9 we can never watch cause it happens right away.... all the music channels freeze..

I have it a little over a week and love it my music channels dont freeze - I listen to them a lot

love it ! I have all of the movie and sports channels (thanks honey) so its not cheap - but totally worth it. I was just noticing the diffrence between my crystal clear reception opposed to my mothers cabel reception this weekend.

I have it & LOVE it! Plus I'd rather pay my Direct TV bill than the cablevision bill my FH use to have

We have direct tv and cable and the quality on the direct tv channels is far better then cable. Our cable company

Yeah, tell me about it. Our cable bill is like $80 for basic cable, HBO and Showtime (I think). Freakin' ridiculous. Sometimes the channels freeze or turn all pixely. It's so annoying
