I was just curious to know how long these vendors take, especially the hall, to cash my deposit checks...I'd like to know my money is going somewhere...kind of a confirmation for the thousands I'm spending.

My deposit to my photographer still has not been cashed...it's been about 3 weeks, and my hall, it's been about 2..Is this normal? I would assume it's because they have so much money they don't need mine. :)

However, them taking my money is a guarantee that I have them booked...otherwise it's all heresay...

I only wrote out a check to the photographer and he had it cashed within a week... Maybe you can call them to find out what happened?

3 weeks is a long time for a vendor not to cash a check. I agree with Debs - call to double check.

No harm no foul to give ca call and say, I was balancing my checkbook and noticed you had not deposited check ** -- any problem? I do it all the time in real life (non wedding)
