Does anyone celebrate your saint's name day?

Does anyone celebrate your saint's name day?

FH is Polish and he and his family celebrate their patron saint's name day. Anybody else do this?

Most of my greek & some of my Italian friends do this.

We used to do it for my grandfather (San Giuseppe)
My patron saint would be St. Julia.

I have no patron saint but my name is derived from a greek goddess does that get a party!

We celebrate every year! (My B'day falls on St. Patrick's Day EVERY year! ) BUt My patron saint is St. Helene, but we don't celebrate her day...)

We celebrate St. Anthony. We go to an old family friend and say a few prayers, light a candle, and we get St. Anthony bread.

I do. My 'official' Greek name is named after the Holy Virgin Mary. I celebrate my nameday on August 15th.

I don't celebrate mine, but FH does(he's Greek). His named day is the same as Deby's

Cool. I think it's a nice tradition and I told FH I want to start celebrating mine. He says I can't because I haven't always celebrated it

I've never heard of that! How do you find out your saint's day? Mine is St. Ann obviously

I looked up Saints Days on Google to find some Catholic website with a list of days.

Friends of mine do. They're Chilean.
