ugh yes! i have been doing it really bad lately and my mouth gets sore....its more of clenching than grinding....i just bite down really hard all night

There is a night guard to can wear for it, ask your dentist. I have to get one my self, i wake up with headaches b/c of it.

yea im at work and im like sticking my finger in my mouth to push on the back of my gums to make the pain stop. my coordinator is like ummm, jenn, soooo not Disney look with you finger in your mouth lol

I grind mine but I don't realize it, my dentists have told me. I did get a toothpaste called 'pronamel' from sensidyne because my doc said the enamel on the bottoms and tops of my teeth (the surfaces that touch each other) is being grinded away :(

lol so does mine, i have to kick him to make him stop.....or he sweats SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bad!!! its so gross!! littereally makes the med soaking wet! I think theres something wrong with him but he refuses to go to the doctor....so until he does he sleeps WAY on his side icky
That was in response to the sweating comment, i thought i clicked quote and apparently i did, so before ppl think i have multi person syndrome, thought id add it ;)

i have like NOOO enamel left anymore, i was born with very little to start with, most of my teeth are caped so thankfully its not something i worry bout toooo much :) That stinks tho :( i had some special toothpase like that for a while too mine stunk

yea i have one my mouth is too small for it or something cuz i spit it out all the time or gag on it :( grr

Its funny you bring this up cause I just had my wisdom teeth pulled and was telling FH last night when I lay down it hurts worse and I figured out that I clench my jaw & I have always grinded my teeth since I was little..it *****!!

my hubby does---i seriously do not know how he still has teeth left, the way he grinds and clenches them.
you can just get a mouth gard from any pharmacy store....or you can talk to your dentist and have one custom made to fit your teeth

I do that..or did that I should say for a long time. My dentist said I was wearing away the enamel on my teeth from it too so he make me a plastic 'bite' retainer. It's a mold that fits right over your bottom teeth and it absorbs the grinding. It weird cuz after a few months you can SEE where you grind and wear them away!! Call your dentist and see if they can make you one!!

i do - i dont grind but i clench in my sleep and even at work sometimes i find myself clenching. I get the worst pain in the back of my head from it too, like at the top of my neck, just under my skull...

i grind at night in my sleep. i wear a night guard because my teeth have been damaged a bit from the clenching and grinding. also my headaches have almost completely disappeared and i think this was one of biggest causes.

Oh boy! I feel your pain girl. I got FH the pillow from Brookstone for X-mas that 'suppose' to prevent snoring. It better work, or his bed will be the couch in the living room.
