does anyone dislike their friend's significant other?

i cant stand my friend's bf of like 4years!
he treats her like crap
he treats her friends like crap
he is miserable w/his life

but yet she's totally in love with him

I just called her to see how her wknd was...she tells me it was great blah blah and then i hear him in the background talking about a wedding. She says yeah we got invited to a wedding at X and he goes and says tell jeannette how cheap the invitations look, this wedding will probably ****....now what guy says that? he's just so weird?? and i hate that he will probably talk about my wedding too... ugh

yes there is one friend with a boyfriend that treats her like crap and is totally psycho. I used to try to tell her that she deserves better but she would always go back to him. now i just dont say nething bc shes a big girl and can do what she wants. theres nothing i can do about it

Yes i do do but I keep it to myself because I would hate for someone to tell me that they hate my FH. I just don't go around her when he's around. I hate that she is bringing him to my wedding

exactly how i feel...i wish he werent coming to the wedding...i know he's going to want to leave early and i know he wont let her fully enjoy herself

Yes, yes & yes! I hate two friends sig others but I could never tell them. So I just go home and vent to my FH after seeing them! haha I just feel like shaking them and telling them to wake up!

yep. my sister & i have a friend like that. unfortunately for us they are engaged & planning their wedding. meanwhile he treats her like such crap. all the girl is worried about is having a ring & a party. they way he treats her does no matter one bit.

before they got engaged my sister would constantly invite her to go to clubs with her & her answer would always be, 'nope, he doesn't let me go.' (my sister is 22 & she is 21)

i used to want to vomit every time i heard about this.
