feel like thier way is sooooo far away? I get kinda depressed when I think about the fact I have to wait over a year, when I walked for the ring for 7 years!!
I know in the end it will be better that I had time to take care of all My diy projects and not have to rush them or stress about getting them fine while working 13hrs a day!! but I was just curious if you felt t the same way?

I was just thinking what if one of the people I contract with closes, two years is a LONG time anything can happen. My Mom assures me we are using well established vendors but it still worries me.

Yes. We are having a 20 month engagement and I feel it is way too long. Although I probably would have been freaking out with a shorter engagement. We have already been engaged 8 months and it flew.

20 months will be exactly too! but we have only been engaged 2.5 months!

UGH THIS!!! I totally agree but next month we are going on vacation then its Thanksgiving, then xmas, then his bday, then our 5 yr anniversary then I have a 3 month wait til its one year...I keep telling myself it will go fast lol.

Oops, I guess you know where my head is today, yes almost two years is a long time! On the other hand I was thinking now that I have my big checks set and it is a long time before I can do invites and such, that it is nice to have time to enjoy the moment you are engaged only once, right?

I'm going with an all inclusive venue so once I book I don't need to shop for dj, photographer. videographer, or limo I get some centerpiece I just have to shop for florist for bouquets and that stuff! my time is gonna go so slow!

I wouldnt be nervous and it goes by so fast!!! I got engaged 8/10/12 and booked my hall oct 2012. At that point I had 26 months to pay it off. Now I have 14 and have my first payment coming up. It goes by so fast!!! Ill be engaged 28 months by the time I get married! Things go by so quickly!!! :)

This! I have a 2 and 1/2 year engagement (30 months!) and I can honestly say time has flown! I really enjoyed taking my time seeing vendors. I was able to focus all of my attention on venues, then photographers, then DJs, etc and I wasn't stressed. I know it seems like a really long time away but it will be here before you know it!

This is why we ended up doing late 2014. We became engaged early June and the idea of waiting until 2015, which was the plan up until the last minute, was too depressing lol. So we just went with 2014.

I've been engaged for seven months and my whole engagement will be a year and ten months. So times we talk about going to get married and not telling anyone lol bc we don't want to wait. But it has been going super fast and nursing school is consuming my lifeee

I can't focus on anything else, I could imagine being in school! I'll be a total of 20 months! hopefully I will book my whole in the next 2 weeks and then I can start on all my diy projects and goodly that will keep me busy!
