Does anyone else ever feel...

like all they do is wedding plan? I feel like I never get to see my friends anymore b/c I'm so crazed with all the wedding planning.

I did, I went to work then came home to my second job, planning the wedding. I did it all is 4 months and it was sooooo worth it!

actually i do ... this is all new to me (engaged on Feb 7) and since then i just have been asked so many questions i feel if it weren't for this site i would really go crazy .. i guess enjoying the first few weeks on cloud 9 doesn't really last ... so many questions so few answers ....

my entire life has been wedding planning since June. I don't know what im' going to do with myself afterward. Decorate?

I don't feel that way, but I feel like I'm the only one doing all the planning. Anytime I ask FH to help, he just wants to take his sweet time, and I'm too impatient for that. So I end up doing everything!

I am so glad that all of my closest friends are in my wedding. i can still spend time with them while planning

I feel that way sometimes. Especially when all people ask me is 'how is the wedding planning going?' before they even say 'hello'! I take small breaks, because even though I'm excited about the wedding it's NOT the most important thing in my life. I dont want it to turn into something negative and I dont want to lose focus on what is really important. I think that I would feel depressed after the wedding is over if I allowed myself to become to obsessed with the planning.

I'm glad to know that you guys feel the same way I feel. I wasn't dreamed about my wedding UNTILL I got a ring...Since then I'm thinking about it everyday. My FH doesn't like me spending lots of time for the research. I feel little sad about it....

Just to give you ladies an answer from someone who' s been through it:

At first youre so high and in love you and are mellow on the Honeymoon and forget how great not planning is

Then about 2 weeks you come back on here and realize its all over ...I became a bit depressed actually because it was my LIFE for 2 years!

Suddenly being a wife hits you and then you realize how much more solid your relationship and you focus on that and not on how much you miss trying on gowns and picking out flowers.

Life truly gets better when you are married and you'll bounce back in no time!

I do wedding stuff at work, at home. I am so consumed w/ wedding stuff. I have a million and one questions for my friends and I hope I'm not getting on their nerves w/ my dilemmas.

Sigh, yup and it drives everyone crazy and I still have a year to go. I guess thats why I think these boards are great cause everyone here is on the same page. And I still have a year to go.

I seriously can't wait for the honeymoon. I feel that everyone wants to talk only about the wedding. Obviously this is not the only thing going on in my life. I guess it is annoying when you feel like you are repeating yourself all the time.

Not really, but I probably should...my FI keeps mentioning to me that i need to start the planning again, so I will probably feel like all i do is wedding planning next month...I felt like I got some of the majors out of the way and then wanted to take a break for Feb.
