Does anyone else feel..

Like some of their friends couldn't care less about your wedding? I feel like most of my friends (not you Tara) don't even ask about it or how I'm feeling. I went out with a supposidly good friend last night who talked on and on about herself, never once asking how I was..and another close friend I spoke to this evening jabbered on and on for 25 mins about a new show she may be doing. She then tells me when the run is and it's right in the middle of my wedding! She doesnt even aknowledge it!

Maybe I'm pms'y and touchey..but I feel very lonely and sad right now

I'm there with ya. A lot of my friends do care, but the others who are pretty much married could care less, esp. ones w/ babies. You know what's even worse...I was in their BP and ran around nuts and helped out, but I've received nothing back in return except aggravation and grief!

OMG!! Got the same friend!! Let me tell you...You are not alone!! I spoke with her the other night and she is crazy! Everything is about her and I did a lot for her because I was her MOH when she got married...Just because she isn't my MOH, doesn't mean that she can't show a little more interest in my Wedding!!!

I definitely have a friend like that. The only problem is that she's my MOH!!!!! She could absolutely care less about my wedding - she moans and groans whenever anything wedding related comes up. It is so frustrating. I've been trying to give her my guest list for the shower that I know she hasn't given one ounce of thought to, but she doesn't want it yet. If I would've known she'd be like this I wouldn't have made her my MOH!!!

Ya know...a certain ex of mine, yes Diane, you know who- I can't tell you how many conversations we've had over the last few months since I got engaged- he has talked the WHOLE time about himself and not ONCE asked me how I was. Who cares if he doesn't ask about the wedding- whatever about that- but not even just about ME and how I'm doing? I mean hello, started a new job, moved to a new state....NOTHING! I mean, isn't it the polite thing to do, to show some interest in the person you're talking to?

Like when I walk into the office at my school. I don't know what it takes for the friggin' secretaries to look up and say hello when I say hello to them! I don't get some people! Hello, social skills!!

I'm there for you girlie You should come to LI since I'll be there and we can go to Cheesecake Factory and feed our PMS!
