does anyone else feel like

wedding planning has taken over their lives?? I am so happy that we are engaged and getting married. It's just that its sucking up all of my money. I feel like I can't do anything and my social life is going down the drain.
FH is in the academy and is always tired from the hours he is putting in and in his spare time he is studying - so he pretty much never wants to do anything. Summer is here and I am usually all over the place.

I just cant kick this feeling. Is anyone else with me??

I was starting to feel guilty. I said I can't wait to the wedding is over and felt bad. I didnt mean in that way...I just meant I want a life again.

Well on the plus side he is graduating 2 wks before the wedding so we have alot to look forward to. Its just tough in the mean time.

Time and life consuming-belive it- even with 6 months to go and all the major stuff done everyday I think of something else that I need to do or think I want to add- OOT Bags,slipper baskets, bath room baskets ect....
And this web site does not help that I am here all the time either!!! oh but i love this place, and what would we do if we could not talk about all this?? Explode!!!

I totally feel that way...Fh and I actually made it a point to go out to brunch and to the movies this past Sun. and we didn't talk about the wedding at all. His aunt gave us an engagement gift and that how we were able to go out. We're broke because all our $$ is going for the wedding. I haven't had a mani/pedi in ages

Right now we're on a wedding planning break though...at least until June. We needed it.

I totally agree, wedding planning takes up every free min and its all I can think about. I am very organized and I like to have everything done ahead of time so I feel like all I am doing is worrying and stressing 24-7. I just can't wait for all the planning to be done and everything to be paid for just so I dont have to worry anymore. I find myself always worrying about how we are going to pay for things we need everyday, finish paying for the wedding and fix up our new house. We try to go out to dinner once a week just to break it up but I find myself feeling guilty about it. Lately I feel guilty about spending money on anything if its not wedding/house related.
We have both been under a tremendous amount of stress, we were thinking of going away for the weekend. Even though we really shouldnt we figure it is the last time we will probably be able to get away because once we start paying the mortgage and the wedding gets even closer we wont be going anywhere.

Hang in there girls!!!! I've heard many people say that you get yourself so nervous but everything will be fine

Its nice to know that I will have a life again eventually =)

the only thing is that we dont get to party it up like we used to - or go out to nice dinners - we havent gotten drunk together in awhile which is a shame and i dont get to spend money on myself - but we've been saving since before we were engaged for other things so im kind of used to all of that - i think its more exciting than stressful, i get anxious for the day to come because im really excited - i dont think we spend much time worrying about it because we know what we can afford and we know what we can and cant do - but we both are looking foward to the honeymoon and coming home and not having to think about the wedding anymore! and ill finally be able to cut my hair short

ets: i come on this site to pass the time at work not so much to wedding plan - the actual planning part hasnt taken up much time at all for us and we have gotten a lot done already - so i wouldnt say that its taking over my life - im sure 1 month before the wedding it def will, but you shouldnt let it control you for months and months

get this - my FH wanted me to make an appointment to get it cut the day AFTER the wedding so that when we leave the next day for honeymoon its short! im like are you NUTS!!! he is dying for me to cut my hair short again i told him he has to wait until we get back from the honeymoon

FH doesnt want me to cut my hair short, I think he cant picture things unless its in front of his face. He forgets when we first met I had hair up to my chin!!
