I am now 30...and I have spent the last 15 years trying to NOT get pregnant We are not actively TTC, but just whatever happens, happens. It feels so weird...to not be concerned with the 'what if' situation. Does anyone else think about this?

Yes...it is so wierd being off BC but we are not actively TTC yet....we are still using condoms. We want to have our own home first. If something were to happen now by accient, then so be it....but when we have our own home, we'll actually TRY.

We're doing the same thing. It's def. weird because you never know if this will be the one time that makes a baby.
I do enjoy the freedom though of not using anything

This is our 1st month TTC and it feels so strange. It is scary and exciting at the same time. Baby dust to all of us TTC!!!!!

Good luck to all of you! I felt the same way when DH and I first started trying. It was so weird! It had been 12 years of trying NOT to get pregnant than BAM now I want to? And it happened so fast for us that it really made me think about how easy it could of been while I wasn't trying! Scary! Baby dust to all of you!

It's weird I had previously posted that we're just kind of going with the flow - well AF was late and I must admit that DH and I were excited and nervous at the same time. Well AF did make an appearance and we're both pretty disappointed. I think we are now going to take a more active step in TTC.
Just wanted to share since the rest of you are always so open...

Okay I am glad I am not the only one. It is so weird, we were having the same attitude that whatever happens happnes and then this month, I wanted to use protection becuase we are going on our Hm in 18 days and will be out of the country , and was afraid if I was pregnant ... but we tried to go back to using condoms and we could not take it... ( Sorry if TMI) We are back to whatever happens happens, and if I am so be it, I know what to do if I am , my OB/Gyn told me what to do . (Things to avoid etc.)
