I got invited to a bridal shower for a person I realllly don't know. I think it was an invite everyone that's going to the wedding type thing. In the invite is a slip of paper an inch wide that read, 'xxx is registered at Crate and Barrel, and Bed Bath and Beyond, and wears a size 32B Bra and a S/M.'
Did anyone else have her BRA SIZE put in her shower invite?

I don't know if it's exactly Rude, but it sure is bizarre. How greedy do we have to be that we would give out our bra size to all the women invited?

I guess is expecting lingerie.
Side Note: I have always thought that Victoria's Secret should have a Bridal Registry so girls can pick their own lingerie and not get stuck with hot pink feathery things

Is it a lingerie shower? Some showers have themes, at least where I come from, and so if it's a lingerie shower it makes sense, but it should say that right on the invite-and I don't think Crate and Barrel carries bras...hmmmm...otherwise, it's a little weird.
But, it wasn't sent by the bride herself, by one of her bms who maybe isn't aware of etiquette...don't hold it against her.

if the shower is a lingere theme, then it is totally appropriate (according to the new Emily Post)...but if the shower is not specifically a lingere theme then that is a bit odd
