Are you eating enough? Sometimes working out and 'Eating well' results in people not eating enough. Your metabolism might slow down and try to save calories especially fi you are exercising and not eating enough. I know some will say that muscle weighs more than fat but it takes a LONG time to gain muscle mass so I don't always buy that story...make sure you are eating enough darlin! hang in there!

no, it happens to me too - every time i weight lift, i dont lose weight - i lose more weight by not exercising! muscle weighs more than fat so when you work out and put on more muscle, it feels like you're gaining weight

I think I am eating enough. I will start a food journal and take it from there. I just bought Jillian Michaels Making the Cut book, so I will see how everything fits together.
Thanks!

Yea I started gaining weight too but I think I was loosing fat and gaining muscle. Remember, muscle weighs more than fat. Are you keeping track of your measurements? I started to stop weighing myself and just check my measurements because I was driving myself crazy.

When I exercise, which I actually try to keep to a minimum because I get TOO skinny TOO fast, I think I'm wasting away to nothing, panic, think I'm dying, hop on the scale...and it's still a pretty sizeable number! So maybe my body is just weird too lol...but the same thing happens.

it takes weeks to build enough muscle to make a difference on the scale. keep a food journal and also keep track of your body measurments.

I totally feel your pain. I'm getting married in a little over two weeks and I am busting my ***! Well I come home today after working out and I'm feeling good and skinnier; I get on the scale and somehow I managed to gain three pounds since yesterday How does that happen?
Meanwhile FH is working out just as hard as I am yet eating a lot more than I am and he's already looking jacked. What the f**k?!

My Darlings..... it's not how much you weigh.. IT'S YOUR BODY DIMENSIONS!! You work out, u burn fat and gain muscle.. which weighs more than fat... Stop looking at the scale and start measuring .. You'll be pleasantly surprised..

no problem..in response tot he poster that said she was feeling good but gained three pounds since the day before stop weighing yourself..especially daily. Your body weight can fluctuate 3 pounds due to water...my weight changes each day! Weigh yourself weekly and take your measurements each month!

If your doing the same excercises everyday your body wont burn as much fat your going to have to change up your workout routine. I ate very little (light breakfast, lunch sandwhich and for dinner meat and veggies and worked out alot (but never the same everyday) and lost ALOT of wieght so that whole metabolism slowing down isnt true for everyone.

Do that for long enough and it will catch up with you. Trust me your body will stall..I dont want to get into personal experiences but i have seen it happen. read any nutrition website and youw ill see the same thing..it might take a long time but it will happen. Dont mean to sound like a b itch at all, m jsut saying. Its not healthy because your body goes into starvation mode. Im sur eyou lost a lot of weight but once your body slows down the weight loss will slow down too.
