Does anyone else get a million phone calls from the mtg.broker and sellers re agent?
I get a least one if not more phone calls a day from these two. They call my cell phone and if I don't pick up or call back immediately they call again to make sure I got the message. Since Wed. I've had at least 5 phone calls from them reminding me that I have to be at the appraisal with the check. Its really getting annoying....its gotten that I am so snippy on the phone, they must think I'm such a nasty person, but it annoys the crap out of me. I hate pushy people - I've always done what they asked and not forgotten and they act like me and DH won't follow through on stuff. I swear I'm ready to scream!!!! Guaranteed I'll get another phone call this morning making sure we'll be there at 1 for the appraisal.
Is this normal or did I just end up with two annoying people to deal with????????? THanks for hearing me vent!

Nope not normal for us! We NEVER once heard from the sellers agent. He communicated with our agent. Our mortage people we heard from twice. We also were not present for the appraisal. I never saw the appraisal until the closing. I just knew that it happened and it was fine, my agent called me when it was done. Do you have your own agent?

No - we ended up finding the place in the paper by ourselves....maybe thats why. I knew it wasn't normal to get so many calls.

OMG, my seller's real estate agent was SO ANNOYING, she would call at all hours of the day and night, she would leave multiple voice messages on my home phone as well as my cell phone, she would LIE and tell me that the deal was going to be OFF unless I did x, y, z IMMEDIATELY and that the seller was going to take my 10% downpayment and cancel the deal (when legally, at that point, she was not able to do so).
I have never been SO stressed out before... every time the phone rang, it was like, MY GOD, make it stop! She was so unbelieveably rude and unprofessional I am shocked she sells any houses.
Every message was 'incredibly urgent that you get back to me ASAP' and she would leave her home number, her work number, her cell number, and the exact times she would be at each location of the next 24 hours...
Thank God it's over!! I just wish the place I'm in now was my dream house, and not just a starter, because I NEVER want to do this again!!!

I had the EXACT same experience!!! I wonder if this is the same woman???

This woman is out on the east end... that would be SO FUNNY if it was the same woman!!! I used to SHAKE when I saw her number, I have never wanted to throw my cell phone away before, but she made me want to!!!
Are you finished with the house buying process at least? (I hope!)

We got 22 calls in 1 day from the mortgage man, we learned he did not know what he was doing and after 6 weeks of being royally screwed and me very sick emotionally and starting to get physcially sick, we walked away from this creep , He drove me nuts. We got our mortgage in 1 week and are going to closing in the next week or two. Good luck, do not let it get to you. I know easier said then done, and I hope the appraisal goes well.

think about it, they don't get paid until you close
