I am the first in my group of friends to get married. I am still getting their rsvps back ( with 16 days to go!) and I am now getting phone calls asking if they can bring a guest?!?!! Hello if I wanted you to bring a guest I would have wrote so and so and guest on the invite!!!!! Its not even long term boyfriends and girlfriends!!!! Its people they just fricken met!!!! One guy isnt even seeing anyone but wants to 'find' someone to bring just for the sake of having a date

I just say ' Oh im really sorry but we only budgeted for x amount of people and we cant afford to go over that amount! we even cut out a few other friends b/c it was getting out of hand ( which isnt true but makes them feel honored that they werent one of the people to get cut!)
