Does anyone else have this problem??

There is a girl that I know through one of my besties... She happens to be the girl who dated my ex right after me. We've been friendly, but she's not necessarily someone I would consider my Friend. I have a hard time whenever we have socialized partly because of the snobbishness that is me (she is not the brightest bulb in the pack - between her accent, the way she talks, and her spelling [tomorrow = tomarow]) I just can't STAND that stuff!!! It's like, come on you learned how to spell that in 2nd grade, you have a high school regents diploma from a nassau county (good one too) school, something doesn't add up here... .Well, anyway, some how for some reason she seems to be very interested in everything wedding related... She seems to expect to be invited to the wedding, she wants to hear all about my dress, blah blah blah. She is a very sweet, but VERY ANNOYING person... to the point where I had to block her on FB - I had to hide all of her updates! I know she's going to expect to come to the wedding.... do I just ignore her im's and such now? HELP!!!!!

it may be hard to completely ignore her. but just keep your distance and try not to go into too much detail with her.

yeah, she asked for a pic of my dress and I did NOT send her a pic, I very breifly described it, minimally.

agh I just had a similar problem with a coworker. She's so nosy and kept harassing me to friend her on facebook until I just broke and told her I basically didn't want to. So awkward when people can't take a hint. She would stop me in the halls and ask me about the wedding too in a VERY nosy, gossipy way.

Agh, i just try my best to avoid her. Sorry, i don't have much advice. Just keep your answers short and as non detailed as possible and if she doesn't get an invite and says something, just say you had to keep the guest list in check.

Yeah... I just really, sometimes she gets me to the point that I really just want to tel lher to stop contacting me! but then at the same time I don't want to be nasty.

ohh i would definitely not send a pic of your dress. and she should understand that. I only showed the closest people to me.

and some people don't show anyone.

Blame it on budget constraints/room restraints....that you have a HUUUGE family and can't not invite one without the other, so you have to cut out some friends.

I'm going to a BBQ tomorrow and I just know I am going to have to say this to one person there who has already said to me, 'I better be invited to the wedding!'

I showed two of my bm's - the one who would be moh if i didn't pick my sis & my 2nd in line... the only other people who know are two of my coworkers, my mom, grandma & godmother... NO ONE ELSE IS TO SEE!!!! I really want people to be surprised.

OMG!!!!! I have a friend getting married next year right before me at the end of June (I think, couldbe July) and even though we're all in the same group of friends, I do not expect to be invited to the wedding. I could never say such a thing!

Do not send her any pic of your dress and do not give her INF about the wedding because you do not know what are her intention. and you should tell her that she is not INV to the wedding.
