It is very frustrating- lately I've been having such problems falling asleep. I've cut caffeine out after 4 pm and go to bed around 10:30 -11. I usually read or watch tv and then turn the lights off at 11:30-12.
DH goes to sleep in about 5 minutes.
UGH

Re: Does anyone else have trouble falling asleep?
I'm with you on that one! I get into bed by 11 (usually with my laptop, 'cause I'm not tired.) Usually ditch the computer around 11:30 (not tonight), and try to fall asleep. I don't usually sleep til 12:30 or later!
AND I have to be up so early! I hate this! FH just called me to say that he was going to sleep.
I'm still up trying to find somewhere to eat on Fri so that we don't miss our show! grrrr

That's why I am here now- I just took a decongestant because it will make me drowsy.
My DH falls asleep and stays asleep. Both of those things are a challenge for me.
Sweet dreams- hope you are able to nod off soon!

Re: Does anyone else have trouble falling asleep?
I've always heard you should not have a TV in the bedroom .. that when you go to bed .. you should not bring work with you .. you should not read .. basically .. when you go to bed .. you're supposed to condition yourself that that's it .. to go to sleep .. you're supposed to eliminate as many distractions as possible.

I've heard that about tv. I think I watch TV or read so it will put me to sleep. But obviously it doesn't work.

That's why they say you have to 'condition' yourself .. not that I neccessarily buy into that line of thinking .. there are many nights I fall asleep in front of the TV downstairs!!

I used to have trouble sleeping but I've been taking Melatonin lately and it really helps.
