Does anyone else refuse to...

Drive in this weather??

I love the snow but thinking about driving in it makes me a nervous wreck!!!! I hate it! I will not drive even up the block even in a little bit of snow..I slid one time and that was it for me. I wish I were braver especially since I have to drive to work but Im just not..

Anyone else??

i just drove from mineola to nesconset and the roads were fine!
it hink the worst is over....for now at least!!

I get nervous if the roads are icy but if I have to go to work or have to be somewhere, I have no choice. I just drive very slowly.

I am PARANOID in driving with just flurries...it took me an hour and a half to get home friday night, when it usally does not take more than 20 mins....I was on a few exit ramps and was sliding, my brakes were not wanting to work since it was all ice under...I have never been so scared in my life..I ahve gone out to clean my car, but not going anywhere till I ahve to get to work tomorrow, which I am DREADING!

I never used to be bothered by weather conditions (I used to drive back & forth to Albany hyroplaning and even doing a 360 on the thruway). But I'd say in the last year or so, I've become a total old fart about it!! I'm thinking it's because when I lived in Queens, I didn't HAVE to drive in bad weather to just go to teh store or whatever, so I didn't think about it too much. If I was in my car in bad weather, it's because where I was going was important.

I am dreading work tomorrow also! I just had a fight with dh over it cause he cant drive me and I know im being a baby! I just hate it..the slightest little skid and Im convinced we are all dead.

I love the winter but these storms gotta go!

I took the truck out today....wasnt too bad, I was a little upset cause I wanted to through that sucker into 4WD High....my block is pretty bad though so I used it then....swereved all the down.... it was kinda fun.

All the major roads are clear

I attempted to go out on Friday and I could barely stop going 10 MPH. I was indoors all day yesterday so I was leery of going today but we took Luke to a Christmas party and the roads were fine. Main roads, like Sunrise Highway were in great condition.

I love to drive in this weather.... I have a 4X4 truck & it is great. On really bad nights me & FH drive around to help people that are stuck.

I had to drive before, and let me tell you, the roads still look pretty bad to me. But maybe I am just a nervous driver. But when you can't see the pavement, then I think it's safe to say the roads could be better.
