Nightmares or really bad dreams? It seems that this entire summer I can not get a normal nights sleep. I am trying to do some research here, I am wondering if it could be a side effect to 'the pill' maybe?
I am so sick of not being able to sleep well. Any advice for me ladies?

I don't have this problem but I always heard that if you eat before you go to sleep you will have nightmares. I don't know if thats an old wives tale though.

I always remember a few dreams everynight...some very bizarre...and some nightmares as well...DH has woke up to me crying in my sleep (just last weekend...I was fighting in a war and got shot at - but didn't cry until my dad yelled at me for running after being shot at)...he has also been punched(shoved) by me - when he was giving away our dog in my dream!!
I'm not really a late eater though...I don't mind the dreams though...it makes for interesting conversations in the morning!!

I used to have this problem and believe it or not, it was from a food allergy. So you might want to talk to your doctor. but it did start happening again and it turned out to be a reaction to too much caffeine, so I cut that out too, and I'm sleeping fine now!

Yes, usually at least 2 or 3 times a week, and that's when I actually get some sleep.. I don't get more than a couple of hours a night lately.
I'm pretty sure it's from stress though... I'm starting to get more nervous and edgy about the wedding lately.

I definitely have nightmares...or very emotional dreams quite often. I wake up crying all the time. It's horrible because it feels so real and you feel that way the rest of the day.

I remember my dreams almost every night. I can't really think of the last time I had a nightmare and what might have triggered it, but I did see something on tv once about dreams and it said that people who are sensitive almost always remember their dreams.
I know that doesn't help you much, but maybe there's something that's bothering you lately that's translating itself into your dreams?
