i just looked in my wallet & i have $7.00 left. & i need to eat lunch in midtown manhattan.

i have to take 3 trains to get to work & the less i have to carry the better it is. it might not be the best reason but when u are on a jam packed train the last thing you want to worry about is holding a bag in your hand.

I'd take up gardening in that case

does your office have a fridge? maybe you could buy cold-cuts and a loaf of bread in the city and leave it in the office, or stuff for a salad, and prepare your own lunch there.

My job allows me to eat the nursing home food for free...whoopie!!
You imagine how GREAT *cough* it is.
