Yes, we are inviting dino's brother's wife's brother,mother, and grandmother. They have been married over 10 years and are at family events. Dino is close with her brother. If they weren't all so close, we wouldnt

Mine does! i have brothers MIL, FIL and BIL!! But ..I'm friends with SIL's brother and we see her parents all the time. i always knew they would be invited...they are family

FH's sibs arent married but I invited my SIL's mother (her parents are divorced and she doesnt speak to her dad, and she isnt close with her sister so I'm only inviting her mother)

Ughh - I'm invited my SIL's parents b/c my mom wants me to. I know they won't come, and they won't send a gift so basically it's just a waste of an invitation!

FMIL tried to put FH's brothers' inlaws on her guest list. I flat out told her I didn't send them a save the date, and that they wouldn't be invited.

Yes, my sister's MIL and her husband... My sister wanted me to cut them out of the 'meet the family' party, but they were honestly the 3rd couple on my list...
BUT we're not inviting FH's brother's fiance's family...

it depends how close the families are....SIL's best friend's family is really close to FH's family. they always invite us to ALL OF THEIR functions and events. so we invited the whole family to ours
at one point (early in relationship) i thought it was crazy that I was invited to SIL's best friends' brothers graduation party....but it just became the norm. its like a big extended family

fh's sis (fsil) is engaged, but we're not inviting her fh's parents, nor his 2 brothers or sil
then again i've never met them, and fh met them once for 2 hours

no but i 'have to' invite my brother in law's (sisters husband) sister and fh even though she is in the bridal party of a different wedding that day. i got in a big fight with my sister over this i just find it pointless.

Yes, and we wouldn't have thought of not inviting them! FSIL's parents are awesome and we also really like her brother and his wife (the brother and wife were invited but can't make it). It REALLY depends on the relationship though. . . If we weren't at all close with them of course we wouldn't invite them!
