Does anyone ever feel like things just WON'T come together? Vent

Does anyone ever feel like things just WON'T come together? Vent

While my friends are comapssionate, they just can't understand the stress I'm under, so I hope you don't mind the long vent.

So FH is currently in the Nassau County Police Academy and we cannot take a honeymoon until the spring. I was very upste about that but now I've accepted it and have moved on. NOW, we've had to cancel our RD because of his schedule (28 days away). We're desperately trying to reschedule but what works for the church doesn't work for the restaurant and vice versa. I won't even go into the fact that BM's and family won't be able to make it now.

Another thing that just doesn't seem like it's working out is hair appointments. Mine is at 8:30am which is great. I have 7 additional people who need to get done and according to the salon the last girl (FSIL) should get in at 12:30, I'm like HELLO...the photographer is coming at 11:30!! The only good answer they have is 'well one hairdresser needs time to do 8 heads' THEN GET ANOTHER HAIRDRESSER IN!! Are you kidding me? Don't people think? I feel like I have to not only think for myself but everyone else. The receptionist just was not getting it. So now I have to go down there in person and talk to the woman who's supposed to do 8 heads in 3 hours!

I plan events for a living and don't get this stressed. I just want everything to come together already!!

Thanks for listening.....

sorry you're hitting a rough patch. if it makes you feel any better, i get these feelings all the time!!! of course, we may both just be nuts, but i don't think so

it WILL come together somehow, but maybe you should just step away from it for a little while. exercise, get a manicure, whatever. then when you're relaxed, face the issue again. seems to work for me...

It will all work out... when the going gets rough, think of me and laugh -- my hairdresser and makeup artist did not even speak English. LOL

Good luck sweetie!

fisrt off: Can you do a rehearsal lunch or breakfast?? WHAT time do you have available at the church? Work around that!

Second: YOU HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO ASK THE SALON FOR ADDITIONAL GIRLS! I had 3 girls in to do hair at 6:30am and one more came at 7:30am to finish 6 of us!

My salon ASKED how many girls I wanted!

FM if you need help/advice

Don't worry about the RD. It will work out. Make sure the salon has the correct times and force them for another hair dresser. I mean they are making $$.

Everything will work out.

8 people is too much for one person - get another one - tell them that is what you want and dont take no for an answer

hon if the restaurant cant work around you get a different one - when is the church available?
can you do an early lunch? or if you have to do the dinner ( or breakfast or lunch ) before the church rehearsal

it will work out hon - try not to stress too much - if you are reaching meltdown call me - i have no problem listening to you scream
