Does anyone ever get sick of wedding talk?? And don't you hate it when ppl that you work with or know ask you if they're gonna be invited to the wedding?
I was training this newbie that I work with last nite and OMG she wouldn't stop asking me ?'s about my wedding. I answered all of them nicely but then I got the 'Am I gonna be invited'? Uhhh yeah hi I don't even know you!!! I hate getting that ?...I normally answer with a snotty sarcastic reply (ppl that know me know I'm kidding)... I REALLY HATE THAT!!!!

Wow I am suprised that someone you dont even know would ask if they are invited to your wedding. She really putting you on the spot!

I get sick of wedding talk but then get scared that I am going to forget something.FH and I work together and everyone at our office assumes that they are invited. So now we have no choice but to invite 50+ people (including their guests). I had one of the receptionists point blank tell me that she better be invited to the wedding. I was shocked. I would never say this to anyone, not even my closest friends!!

I have seven...yes seven people already invite themselves to our wedding...umm excuse me??? If your name is going anywhere on our wedding list...it is going on the z list...never mind the A, B and C lists....

I can't stand when ppl do that. Ppl i know don't ask me, they just assume they r going. 'oh man we are gonna have a blast at your wedding', or 'hhmm, thinking i should rent a driver that night' or the best 'where are we all gonna stay'.
If i had the money i would invite all ppl that i know, but i can't. so i tell them 'well lets see how the family part of the list goes'.

I havent had that thank god but I do have a cousin that I dont like very much that I know is gonna ask to be in my BP because Im asking her sister. Not looking forward to that.

One person has asked so far, but I was planning on inviting them anyway. I just hope one of my co workers doesn't ask me she's really wierd!

I only talk to one co-worker about my wedding. We eat lunch together everyday and she likes to look through my magazines. She is definitely invited. But I am kind of worried about how to invite co-workers. I work in a school and I have a lot of colleagues that I am friendly with. I think I am just going to invite the principal and my grade.

My FI are probably not inviting work people. I have only been at my job a short time and my FI isn't really close with anyone either so its just easier anyway!!

I try not to talk about wedding plans with people I'm not inviting to the wedding. If people asks me 'Oh, I'm invited right?' I either:
Laugh and change the subject Say It's in NY (I live in CHicago) and then ignore the question Explain that FH and I both have large families and the guestlist is at 140 with just family alone

I think it is rude and presumptuous to invite oneself to a wedding or any other party for that matter.
