Does anyone else feel guilty when they decide to go with one vendor over another? First we chose Danfords over WSCC and now I have to call the photographer who we were originally going to book with (really, really nice guy) and tell them we booked elsewhere. Ahhhh
yea but you get used to it. its business, they understand
a little but i just think i am not the first person to do it
not really, usually there is a good reason why i wasn't going with them so i never really felt guilty
I totally do! I also don't have a good poker face, so I make it seem like we are going to book almost every vendor we meet with.
sometimes..i never call them though to tell them im not using them and i neverrr book on the spot
I don't really feel guilty cause there was a reason I didn't book that certain vendor in the end anyway. I agree with the others....its business.
my jeweler was going to call me with price of wedding band. i really like this guy but he never called and we went on vacay and I found a wedding band for a fraction of the price. he decided to order the ring anyways without telling me price or anyting. he said he did it cause i always buy from him and he didnt think i would go anywhere else. he tried to make me feel bad. o well...i mean you shouldnt feel bad going with one person over the other just because theyre good people. I get weird about that too but I had to go with what was cheaper. dont feel bad picking one vendor over the other.
YES!!! I avoid calls from the other vendors and everything... I just want to avoid the entire topic...
yeah i feel guilty so i always make FH be the bearer of bad news lol. but its business..im sure they dont take it personally
In the beginning I sooooo felt like this but you definitely get over that feeling quickly
I felt guilty at first....but I guess I just realized I have to do whats best for my FH and I..... I think it;s akward when you see a vendor you didnt book with at an event or something..... Big fat elephant in the room..lol :)
