sometimes you just get out of the wedding planning mode? As most of you know, I just reached my 1 year mark. I don't know why but I have been stalling out on things. I had a DJ appt that I canceled just because I didn't feel like going lol. Is this bad??? AHHH

hahahahaha nooo i know how you feel..its so overwhelming at first and you are so excited and all you want to do is wedding plan and book things..sometimes you just need a BREAK...take this weekend off and dont even think about the wedding! then next weekend start again...

Yes! Ive been out of wedding mode for 4 weeks now, haven't done a thing I guess sometimes it is just better to take a break from it and get back to normal life or it will just drive you crazy!

ye totally take the weekend or 2 off, nothing wrong with taking a break. I feel the same about talking about the wedding. it seems me and FH talk about nothing but the wedding. sometimes, I feel 'like what, we don't have any other interests other than the wedding????'

you arent alone! i have hardly done anything. i feel like if i had more money to spend i would be out booking things but unfortunately $$ is tight so i havent done much....

I feel the same way. I'm slowly doing one thing at a time as soon as I get a little money saved.

FH and I actually took a 3½ month break while looking for a RH because we were so overwhelmed.. plus we had been planning our Eparty... take as many breaks as needed... don't stress yourself.
I'm like that all the time. I dont wanna do anything except add things to my registry and come on here to find out whats going on in eeveryone else lives!

I totally did this at the one year mark, and just started planning again recently as in last week. For us, we didn't force ourselves to do anything -- if we didn't feel like it, we didn't go. Now we're kind of back in a groove and I'm enjoying it. but from Oct 2008 - May 2009 we didn't plan a thing.

i feel like this everyday!! i dont mind chatting on here about it but going out in the real world and sitting for appts with vendors just annoys the out of me!

Yes! I was on wedding overload. I still have to book my florist, but I am like whatever... I'll do it whenever... no biggie...

Yep! I def took a small vacation from wedding planning! FH and I probably won't do anything major again until August. I think I would go nuts if I didn't. Here and there I get in the mood to do part of a DIY wedding project and of course I'm always up for shopping for things I need, but that's it, aside from keeping up on these boards.
