Does Anyone Feel Lost??

I absolutely feel that nothing makes sense. My bridesmaid dresses don't go with my dress, the color is so difficult to match anything to, I don't have a theme to follow (could go with 4th of July or Beach), I don't like any invitations, flowers bore me, everything I do like is the most expensive and every time I ask someone I know for an opinion, I don't get the one I want. UGH!!!!!

Am I the only one that feels this way??

What's your BM dress color? Do you have a pic? We could make a ton of suggestions for you in regard to what might match it!

Weddings don't need a theme...but you could absolutely incorporate the holiday or the beach into it if you want. Again, give us an idea of your colors, and we can give you a ton of ideas.

Flowers only bore me when it comes to a wedding. I know what you mean. Look into alternatives to flowers. You don't need to have floral centerpieces. Hell, you don't need to carry a bouquet. It's all up to you.

And a word to the wise...don't ask for opinions if you really don't want people to tell you what they think. The less people that know your plans, the better. Opinions are like @ssholes - everyone has one, and they all stink!

i think that has to be the best advice ive heard while planning my wedding !!!

I feel VERY frustrated..... I'm not even ready for any of that stuff!!! I'm trying to find a place to have my reception and finally book a date for this October... I'm working on budget and haven't even started thinking about bridesmaid dresses, flowers, etc........

Definitely LOST and SOOOOO STRESSED!!!!

Thanks girls, it means a lot to know that I am not the only one who feels this way and that there are people out there to give good advise and help.

OMG THANK YOU! I have been feeling the same way, and since I just got engaged Christmas Eve and started planning the wedding for THIS JULY, i feel so under the gun....and unable to make decisions.....

When I see posts from girls who have their whole wedding planned a year in advance, I break out in a cold sweat! All I have so far is the dress, the RH, and the DIY invite kits (I couldnt find any invites i liked either!)
