Im the other way... i'm doing everything but no one is asking me anything... not even if they can do something to help!
And STILL no guest list from FMIL or my dad!!!! I HAVE STDS TO SEND OUT PEOPLE!!!!

Sounds like a pretty common scenario Annieb! Maybe you can just be blunt with her, tell her you are under alot of stress right now, and it would be a tremendous help if she could do this or that.
Or maybe you can just not answer your phone
Take a deep breath, relax, hang in there! And feel free to vent anytime!

Ditto - I'm here working on my invitations, the labels won't print, the CDs are taking forever,had to get a new veil, the ribbons are the wrong, color, and only 2 of the 9 bridesmaids have gotten their shoes and none for their first fitting.....and like only one person has offered to help us so far......I can't wait until the honeymoon

Invest in caller ID!!!!!!!! I havent answered the phone the last two days when my FMIL and my own mom called!! I just cant deal with their stupidity. Rather than say something I will regret I figured it would be safer not to say anything! My invitations just came in and I asked them for their lists and they are both giving me a hard time.. it was to the point that I said who evers addresses I have will be invited whoever I dont TOUGH and if they have a problem with the fact they werent invited tell them you never gave me their address!!! UUUUUGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

I wold just tell her how busy you are. Give her the # to the bridal store for the dress. Also, give her the # to the hotel. Maybe they can give her a room to change for an hour.

I actually elected to do everything on my own - I didn't want to have to worry about someone else messing things up, I am too much of a perfectionist. I get a little stressed sometimes, but overall I feel like it is worth it. My mom has taken care of a lot of things from her house (in Florida) for me, for which I am very grateful, but everything else I am doing alone too.
