I keep thinking of it, and I don't know why but I feel so weird going to the hotel that night and it will be like 'official' that our parents know we 'did it'.....granted, they clearly must know it has happened but now its like official official.......

LOL! OMG, I just had this feeling the other night because we were going over stuff with FH's parents for the wedding and his dad was asking if we decided where we were going to go for the night after the wedding.....and yea I felt a little creeped out.

Hahaha, I remember my brother-in-law being really weirded out about that. Actually he was even more weirded out when my sis got pregnant bc then it was really official that they did the deed. LOL

i always tell FH that i'm not telling my dad when we get pregnant . .. b/c then its like official official official . . .
and as a side note, my little sister (shes 12) always likes to sleep in my bed with me . . . so she kind of jokingly asked if she could sleep in the bed in my hotel room after the wedding and i very nonchalantly said no, Kevin and I have to sleep together (something to that effect) and she was like OMG EW . . . but I totally didn’t even mean it that way . . . eeewwww she’s going to know too!!!

FH feels this exact way...he was going so far as to tell me we wouldn't be staying in the same hotel as everyone else because everyone knew what was going to happen and he didn't want to run into anyone the next day at checkout
I told him to stop being a baby and suck it up haha...he's got a child, nobody's gonna think that we're not doin it on the regular. Hell, even my GRANDMA is not phased...I was staying with her and got very sick (throwing up, like a stomach flu) and she walks right in and goes 'ARE YOU PREGNANT?!?'
Yeah...nobody thinks we aren't having sex

Ha ha. Yea, I agree with the others, I am more worried about having to announce a pregnancy. It really is official at that point. FH's little brother is such a punk lol I could totally picture him saying something embaressing. Its all in good fun. I keep thinking when someone gets married, pregnant etc...its a happy time so hopefully the focus will be on the purpose and not the sex lol.

I would not worry about that - your parents know that you are getting married - and when you announce that you are pregnant they will be thrilled about the baby (they are not going to care how it got there). believe me my sister has 2 girls and when she announced the pregnancy my whole family, parents, grandparents, aunts. . . . they were and screaming BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i feel the same way. i feel completely weird about that. when we still lived at home, i always used to freak out that someone would catch us in the middle.
we don't even kiss in front of anyone. the first time my brother & SIL saw us kiss was on the day we got engaged. my brother was all like, oh my you just kissed each other.
the other thing is that prior to being engaged if we where any place with my nieces or nephew my parents wouldn't allow us to stay in the same room. although since being engaged my nephew keeps asking my mom when he is going to have a cousin. she told him after we are married. ugh, so now every time he sees us he asks if he will have a cousin in May, since we are getting married in April & will be on our honeymoon until May. apparently he thinks that people go on a honeymoon to pick up a baby.

I hadn't thought about it till now... we've lived together since we met pretty much, hes stayed at my parents house with me at points, we slept in the same bed... Im pretty sure they are aware... and all they care about are grandchildren!
