does anyone get the chills...

when they hear the song they'll dance with their dad to? My wedding is so far off (5/25/03) but I think I've picked the song. I saved it to my hard drive, and every time I play it my eyes smart.

Can I just tell you that song that I am going to dance with my Dad is 'There You'll Be' by Faith Hill, the first time they debuted it on the radio, I said this is for my Dad and I and of course I was crying. I could not get away from that song because of that time I first heard it!

EVERYTIME I HEAR THAT SONG MY EYES SWELL WITH TEARS, I WANTED TO DANCE TO IT WITH MY FH AS OUR FIRST SONG BUT I WILL DEFINATELY BE TEARING THE ENTIRE SONG, IT IS REALLY SO BEAUTIFUL.. BUT I WILL REQUEST THE DJ PLAY IT:)

if you get bored enough sometime, will you post the lyrics? i dont know the song, but being that i am a big old sap and very close to my dad, i'm sure i'll be right there with you on the tears! we have been talking about using a peppy song, just so my dad and i dont sob our way through the whole thing! but i havent decided yet!thanks!

I love that Faith Hill song and I felt the same way the first time i heard it on the radio. I'm afriad our band won't do it as well (even though they're awesome) so I'm between choosing a standard Sinatra song or going with my original plan to use 'There You'll Be'
EVERY time I hear it I get choked up so I'm probably better off NOT dancing to it or I'm bound do be a weeping mess!! :)

The lyrics are beautiful. My dad and I decided to go with a upbeat song, one of our choices is 'My Girl'. My dad and I are so close that even with a upbeat song I'm still gonna get emotional.
