I put this on my engagement invitation and added the word 'engagement' so people didn't think they were coming to my wedding.

Groom pooped the question 'Will you be my wife?'
Bride answered 'I will love you all my life.'
That's how it started now an engagement party is due
So reserve this date we're inviting you!

I also personalized it with our names instead of Bride and Groom. There was a post about this, that is where I found this one. Someone posted like 12 of them. I forget the title. It was an '09 bride. I think the date was from March 11, 2008.
