I never go 'out, out' for New Year's - people are just effing nuts that night and it always seems like Amateur Drinking Hour. FH and I always go to a house party or just hang at home. Last year we were on our way to a party with some friends and it was so flippin' cold that we all stopped at a liquor store for some booze, picked up a pizza, and went back to his house. We just didn't want to deal with the cold and the jerks who insist on driving after knocking back a few too many.
ETA: Probably the same thing this year!

Uhhh..the pizza and booze sounds like a good idea to me we're on a tight budget!

I'm so with you. On new years I never go out.....FH & I stay home drink and than I watch the honeymooners until I fall alseep

Me too!! lol. My entire family usually gets together every new years, we don't like going out that night it makes me nervous so we'll probably have it here or at one of my aunts houses. But next year party at Catherine & Eiriks!! So excited, can't wait!!

Not sure.. But in a way I feel like celebrating as this will be our last new year's eve as 'single' not married so we will see.. but probably will spend it with friends and family at some one house as we are on tight budget

we always go to FHs friends house. we spend it with his family. its a great time especially since we have been doing since we first started dating. this will be our 9th new years eve celebration there!!

I have always done NYE up BIG!!!! I had friends who worked for promoting companies adn would throw insane parties in lofts, art galleries.. really swanky events (well until everyone was hammered) with like 500+ people...best part, I always got in and drank for free!! The past 2 years FH and I have done the catering hall party thing and it's been fun...
This year, I just wanna get together with some friends at someones house and hang... I can't party like I used too.. plus, we're broke...

I'm MOVING... wooooo... my cousin lost his job and has to move back in with his mom... so we are taking his apartment... its the same size as ours but 400 les... woooooo... this will be the 3rd time... ive moved over a holiday weekend... yesssss

The last few years FH & I have stayed close to home (w/in walking distance) its just too crazy and dangerous to be on the roads....
