Re: Does anyone have a Benz or a Jag?
Jag is a mechanics nightmare! Although they are better now. Get the benz S500! Best car ever!!! Except for the Ferrari 360 Spider!

Re: Does anyone have a Benz or a Jag?
FH has a Benz and he's had no problems with it. My ex had a Jag and we spent many nights broken down on the side of the parkway-definitely go Benz!

Jags are REALLY expensive to repair. I love the Benz...they are great cars.

Re: Does anyone have a Benz or a Jag?
If you have any questions about cars....please ask me.
The E class and the Jaguar are both excellent cars. My friend has an X type Jag and she likes the way it rides, but she doesnt like the fact that it is so small on the inside and the gas pedal and brake pedal are so close together.
Jaguars used to be Mechanics nightmares up until 1997 when they started making the cars alot better. The ones that are out now are excellent quality automobiles.
Merscedes has always been a great driving car. The 'E' class is no exception when it comes to quality. I would recommend the 'E' class over the Jag though.
Just stay away from the 'C' class benz. I have been hearing about alot of issues with that car.

Benz is a better car that the Jag. Mike's sister got the 2002 jag x-type, already so many problems with it!!
My brother has a benz and LOVES it!! Loves it better then the beemer...but then again he always has been a few steps behind the rest of the us...
You will be hot in whatever you drive!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Does anyone have a Benz or a Jag?
T, my parents have a Jag XJ8 they got last year.
They haven't had any problems with it until they shipped it to Fla. last week to their new house.
Two days later some warning light came on and my mom freaked. They had it towed and it was something with the fuel line. Its all fixed now. I don't know if it was a fluke thing, but my mom still insists that she loves her car.
BTW, her last car was a Mercedes CLK435 and she HATED it (it was gorgeous). She got TWO blowouts on the LIE with it, and the car sat in her garage for the last 6 months of the lease. Still, till this day she's petrified of the expressway!

I would pick the one that has the best ratings for being reliable.
