We are looking at both and I am not sure which oen I like better...

Kim - FH has the A4 1.8t Quattro. His sister has the A6...neither of them have any complaints - they are both a lot of fun to drive, great on gas. He wants me to take over the A4 so he can get either the tt or the allroad. Freak.

My FI wants a G35. That is his dream.... He had a 2000 Civic SI that got totalled because some moron decided to make a left turn in front of him in to a driveway that was blocked off by a fence. When FI got out of the car he said what were u doing and the guy stated he was turning in to the parking lot. FI said through a fence then he changed to he was making a u-turn. STUPID PEOPLE! Now he has a Mazda MP3 which he hates..... he wants the G35 so bad. and by the way just for the record Some people do work their A$$es off to afford nice cars and houses DONT HATE!!!!!! More Power to ya T. Like I said Im saving my money for my BMW M3 Convertible!
T - I like the Benz over the Jag, but am personally looking towards a Beemer in the next year or so after we get the new house in order and pay off the widescreen tv.
Kim it is ok that you brought me into your comment. I am not here to cause trouble. I am on this board because Danielle is very busy during the day teaching and then at night she doesnt really have enough time to come on line except to check mail.
I have found plenty of useful information on this forum and I have found 'most' people to be really nice and polite, that is why I post here.
I post on many other forums....mostly car forums and I am also a Moderator on another Forum.
I like this site very much, and the great conversations help my day go fast.

Theresa my brother has driven Mercedes for the last 6 years and he loves them. He's currently in a 2001 S500 and he's had no problems at all.
Michelle he's actually thinking of turning in the Merc since he's seen the new BMW 7-series sedan:
We just got the X5 and I love it. The lease wasn't that bad either. Under $600/month with $2500 down.

From what I hear, Benz is the better car. If you're interested in buying one in NY, let me know. A close friend of mine sells Benz and I'm sure I could pass along her number to you.
Either way you're getting a great car. But from everything I've heard you can't go wrong with a Benz.

oh boy, cars and nastiness, a guy's delight. i don't understand why so many people get so offended by tommybride well, i can kinda understand theresa. she's obviously neurotically insecure about herself, so she'll take almost anything you say or do to her as a threat or an insult. and she talks about tommybride being immature??? and i quote; 'GET OFF my JOCK and MY threads you are pathetic'-ronnie&theresa does that sound very mature? that sounds like she's in high school lol But for the sane on here (everyone else ), ya gotta just take things into perspective. anybody, male or female, that is coming on this board comes on to get wedding info (BHB, etc) or to have fun chatting (NWR, etc). I find it highly insulting that someone would imply that my fiance is less of a man simply becuse he posts on this site. Who are you to tell him where he can or cannot post? Where in the rules of LIW does it state that you can push people around and insult them simply because you don't agree witht heir point of view? to answer the original question...I would go mercedes....german engineering is far superior to Ford...and I think Jaguar has taken a downfall since Ford acquired it...
when you say low 700s...is that for lease or buying...if its buying...thats awesome...thats what our payments would have been...but we are leasing with the option to buy...so we could get lower payments...

On the contrary- I think the mechanics of the Jag have gotten better since Ford took it over- but the styling of the body to me is eh...
But then again.. I think spending so much money on nothing more than a 'status' symbol is ridiculous.... I get around fine with my Ford Focus. I've said it before and I'll say it again- why invest $700 a month on something that loses value as soon as you take it off the lot... If you have a 2 year lease for 24 months (2 years) that is $16,800... at your age, you're better off putting that in a Roth or a CD or some other retirement account- you'd be a MEGA millionaire by the time you are 50 and you could buy the Bentley.
I'd rather not have to work and have a Bentley and a slew of retirement homes instead of a Jag X type or the like.. JMO
