So, one is on a great sale at Amazon and I am tempted, but don't know if/why I would ever use it...Is it any better than the regular toaster oven or regular oven? link to convection I am contemplating...

We have one and it is awesome. The food comes out nice & crisp, I recommend it.

I'd love to know if it's better too. We got one for our wedding. It's still in the box becuase we had registered for a toaster oven/broiler and got that and STILL - mind you this is 1 1/2 years later - still don't know if we would use the convection. So, we are still using our old toaster oven and the convection oven and toaster/broiler remain in the boxes untouched.

I am thinking you are right...I was imagining frozen pizza, pies, cookies, french fries...But I think this is like the Target end aisles, I just can't resist...MUST resist...

It is great for making appetizers for smaller sized dinner parties or just get togethers. We enjoy ours.
