Does anyone have a DH or FH that is a pack rat?

I am going crazy. My DH thinks our place is a storage unit. I can not believe how many things he saves and collects. I am going to lose my mind. His mother is moving to Florida and gave him two BIG speakers. What on earth do we need them for? We already have two big ones in the living room and four away in the closet. I try to get rid of little things here and there hoping that he does not look for them. A few months ago he brought in about 100 records. I have no idea where he got them from, but he says he plans to sell them! UGH-when is what I would like to know. I wish I did not have an extra bedroom for all his stuff.

Anyone else live with a pack rat?

YES U SOUND JUST LIKE ME. My DH's dad moved to FL last week Mike is still emptying his car as we speak WHY do we need this crap. He has cards from his 5th birthday.

Don't even START..we have SO mcuh crp..this apt will NEVER get finsihed..EVEr..We 'inherited' a lot fo nice stuff, but we also inherited coffee tales that DON'T FIT, so we ahve to STORE them in our TINY basement apt. I had to TALK FH OUT OF an old hideous recliner someoen wanted to give us.ew. He won't throw ANYTHING out. He woudln't let me throw out his sheets form college (seriously, when will we need twin x long sheets?)

Me too!! DH would throw EVERYTHING in the house out if I let him.
