My usual source for recipes is www.allrecipes.com I did a search -- hope this helps! I've never made stromboli before.

I make mine with pizza dough (bakery bought)

I lay out the dough and make layers of meats (peperoni, ham, turkey, etc...then I put mushrooms, yellow, orange pepers and cheese. I roll it up and sprinkly dough with sesame seeds and bake.

I just made a 'quickie' stromboli last Fri nite. I used the dough from the Pillsbury cresent rolls - it's not a 'traditional' pizza-type dough, but it was QUICK!

I took the dough out of the canister, rolled it out to re-join the pre-cut lines, and then filled it w/breaded chicken cutlets, blanched baby spinach, and mozzarella. I served it w/marinara sauce on the side. It was yummy!

My mom makes it with pizza dough, mozzerella cheese and pepperoni. It's so good!!

We make it like Claud...Pillsbury dough pinched together, then layer pepperoni, mozzerella, whatever you want for filling.

Roll it up into a loaf and bake according to directions on the can.

You can brush the top of the loaf with egg white and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
