Really, I mean how do ladies that are pregnant tell us, that are trying for a while, what to do? What we don't already know? (I don't mean your sister )

Oh my gosh!
I've had people tell me what position to try, to use a tampon after, etc, etc!! (and I've actually tried them all )
Now, when people start offering their advice I just say I HAVE NO FREAKING TUBES...IT AIN'T HAPPENING THAT WAY! That usually shuts them up

Re: Does anyone have a friend(s) that...
It amazes me how insensitive people can be - just shut up and listen
When I start TTC I'm not telling anyone - I have PCOS and I'm sure that I'll have problems TTC. None of my other friends/family have it or understand it so I'm keeping my mouth shut. They all conceived on their first or second try so they couldn't possibly begin to understand.
I come to the boards b/c of the wealth of info you girls are - I'm glad that you all (and one day me) have a place where we all just understand and support one another!!!
I wish all of you tons of dust

Good for you Lisa. It gets to the point where you are like 'enough already, leave me the he$$ alone'

Um my best friend is the only mother in the world. She is the only one that had a rough pregnancy and was able to carry a baby, give birth and care for that baby, work and have a husband- didn't you all know that!

Girls, wait till youre pregnant (Crossing my fingers and toes for all of you )
EVERYONE seems to know your body better than you! Didnt you know that???. They inspect and analyze where youve grown and how youre carrying and then they can tell you how it's different from the previous pregnancy! I smile and say 'oh really???' and just listen to their babble that makes nooo sense....

I just read a line in a GF's guide to pregnancy that when people start giving you unsolicited advice, zone them out and start thinking in your head of baby names that you are considering, or smile and nod them to death

Been there! UGH! You just want to say 'Believe I've tried that -- not working for me'.
Or the people that just act as if you aren't supposed to have a baby b/c it's not happening. When I get comments from those that had no trouble getting pg -- I just smile and try to block it out. Say 'thanks for your thoughts' and move on.

I have a friend like that too and she is the only one that had problems getting pregnant and had to have IVF.

Re: Does anyone have a friend(s) that...
I think this aspect carries over into every facet of your life. Like when you were wedding planning, everyone forced their vendors, ideas, etc. down your throat. When you buy a house, everyone has their thoughts. If you had a bad day, they have one that will top that. It makes you crazy how much people invade themselves onto others...
