WOW - that is a great list! Did you really give that list to your photographer? I did not know that you can do that. I know that you can give them a few shots that you definitely want, but if I give them that list, do they follow it? That is great - this way you know for a fact that you get every shot that you want. I just did not think that I could give them a list. Great idea!

I actually jsut spoke to my photographer about this... he said, please do not give him a list with a gazillion photos on it... he said he just can't follow it.... any good wedding photographer will KNOW you want a picutre of you and FH cutting the cake and you with your father walking down the aisle and you with your mom helping you get ready,etc/ etc. you are paying them to do their job..... and he said honestly, they are so busy taking the shots and getting them as they are happening, they don't have time to check off 'must-take photo 672' off the list.

however, he did recommended making a brief list true must-take photos, i.e. not the obvious ones and that the list should be short. like if you MUST have one with the girls from college, or one with you and your great-grandmother, etc. or the one with your family from timbuktu,etc. ...other than that, they will take care of it--they know what shots you need and want.

Yes, but you would be surprised at some of the 06 bride experiences - they were very, very disappointed with what the thought their photographers would just 'know' they should take pictures of - so, i say - its your money, your paying - if you want to give him a list, give him a list.

I am handing a list out this way I know that I told the photographer that he/she needs to take the following people or moments so they are clearly aware. I wouldn't go super nuts with a list but my brothers wedding had sooo many pictures but hardly any of our side. I wan't to avoid that.
