I don't have a marquis, but I am going to have the hardest time finding a Wedding band. My ring has a thick band, my diamond sits really high & I have side diamonds, nothing looks right against it.
I want to wear both rings together, but I have a feeling it is not going to happen. I am going to try to see if someone can customize something for me.

i have a low setting as well...I dont have a marquise...i have an emerald radiant cut
i went to the jewelers and discussed some of my options
1) change to a higher setting 2) custom made band that will curve a bit to somewhat flush against the e-ring 3) get wedding band that i like and just wear e-ring on the right hand
i think i am changing my setting to a higher one if i find a band that i love

My Mom's original e-ring was a low-set MQ.
She wore her e-ring on the right hand, w-band on the left.

Have you thought about getting one custom made? My stone is round but the prongs are on an angle from my finger, so I am getting mine with a bend to attach to my e-ring

I have a marquis diamond - check on my website. When fh bought me my engagement ring he also bought the wedding band. It fits with it but I am going to wear them seperate
Re: Does anyone have a low mounted marquise engament ring?
I have a pear - its not super low, but its not high enough to have anything sit flush.
I dont want to reset it - so I am getting a 5 stone round in a bar setting that sits very low.
i dont want a custom band that curves, bc then i cant wear the wedding band alone.

I have a custom designed radiant cut that sits low with channel set side stones, I have to have my wedding band custom made as well because i want to wear them together, I would suggest getting one custom to fit your e-ring if it is really important to you that they fit together on the same finger. It would be worth it if you are going to wear it everyday. I won't really have a problem with this because my FH is a goldsmith so I don't really have any clue on how much or anything but you could look into it, hope this helps!!
