I am thinking about getting a small copier for school. I saw a brother laser copier for about $200 at staples but it is so big that i don't think i'd want to keep it at school. but the whole point is keeping it at school. any suggestions? I want to get this b/c the copier is broken at least once a week and i have so many dittos from the previous teacher that I want to copy but don't want to pay rent in the copy room with all the time I'd be spending there.

Personally, I wouldn't invest in one for school becuase it's expensive to buy it, and expensive to buy all of the ink for it. My father used to have one and it ate up the ink, and could only do a few copies at a time.
We have a combination printer, copier, scanner at home and it takes forever to make copies of anything....
I just don't see it being worth it

I have an all-in-one at home that is an HP. It can run at about 1/2 speed of a basic professional copier, but it uses printer ink, so it can be costly

i have a laser printer at home and LOVE IT!!! ink is expensive but we get like 3500 copies from 70$ vs. inkjet getting nothing. I'm not looking for something that is going to replace going to the copy room or copying 30 pages every day. just something that can handle like 30 a week. i waste so much time making copies and sometimes wait forever when i send something to the copy room. Plus, when a kid loses 1 ditto...man, that can be like 10 minutes out of the day. Yes, i make extra copies but there is always that ONE kid who loses everything. anyway, thanks for your input. anyone else?

I have a fax,copy,scan machine. I was just spending so much money copying music that we decided to buy this thing. I think I saw one recently at Best Buy for under $200.

DH bought me a photo printer with copier, scanner etc for my graduation a few years ago.. I love it. It is great for when we need a quick copy here and there and when I have to copy stuff for work. it is pretty fast too. And ours has six different ink cartridges, one for each color, so if one runs out, we just have to buy that one and they are only $12.99 each to refill. I print a ton of pictures and make tons of copies and I'd say on average I have to replace a cartridge every 3-4 months.

My FI bought me a laser. copier scanner all in one and I love it...its great for last minute copies but I try not to do too many class sets

the hp 1350v ( what we haev ) is a printer and copier in one - not too huge and it is 2 machines in one
