Does anyone have an apt in Long beach?

Dh and I are looking to move to long beach when our lease is up. We figure for the next year or so while we are still saving for a house, we might as well live near the beach.

Can anyone give me any info on any of the apt buildings? Like which ones are decent, and what the prices are like?

TIA

I do!!

There is a building right next door to mine that is RIGHT on the boardwalk and they have there own pool and beach access, the building looks like so much fun, it's kind of set up like melrose place with the apartments in the big U surrounding the pool. ANYWAY... it's one of the few affordable rental buildings in Long Beach.

Unfortunatly I have no idea what the address is. It's on the corner of Monroe and Shore Rd. though.

I will take a look around online to see if I can find any info.

i love long beach...

ETA ok, i found it... 270 Shore Road.

good luck, sorry thats all i had to offer!

I lived next door to those apartments
Very cool place

I lived in Sea Pointe Towers
360 Shore road
It was a 10 story waterfront building, with 2 pools, hot tub garage, beach access and doorman.
The building was Co-op but we rented from someone who owned.

A few con's about long beach...it is a PIA to get out of it.
Its at least 20 minute just to leave.
When the bridges go up, it can feel like forever.
There isnt much there, i always felt i had to leave long beach to do things, like hair, nails, i tried the salons in the town but they su c ked

Good things, the beach, restaurants, the west end.

If you look for apartments on the west end my sister lived at the end of Tennessee, in a beachfront apartment building, no pool or anything. and very very hard to find parking in the west end.

Try the sherwood house 410 East Broadway in long beach

It's a co-op but they do have rentals in there. Our best man is on the board too.

I would just stop in the building and ask to speak with the super. Go on the weekends and see if there is an open house.

If you want I can ask our friend for you. When are you looking to move by?
