Does anyone have an eternity band?

Does anyone have an eternity band?

I want one very badly but the women at Fortunoff is telling me it's not a good idea. She said it can never be resized so if you lose weight or gain there is nothing you can do. She suggested that if I do get one to get it a little bigger and put balls in the band and if I gain weight they can be taken out. Does anyone have any feedback about eternity bands? TIA

I wanted one also but am annoyed b/c of the same thing. My weight goes up and down.. and then I cant wear it when im pregnant. I decided that I will stick to the band I have now and maybe for like our 5 year anniversary I will ask for one ( if im done having kids and my weight is more steady)

I purposefully didn't get one because I know too many people with problems with them - (can't be resized, losing the stones in the palm area)

Honestly I got a 1/2 eternity from Tiffany's and honestly the stones go to each side of the fingers so unless someone is examining the palm of my hand no one would know the difference.

I have one and LOVE IT!!! I have two half moons put in it b/c it was a little big for me. You can't see them at all. You barely notice them even when you look on the inside of the ring.

If you want one really bad, I say get it. How many people really get their rings resized for losing/gaining weight?

We just went this morning to look at bands! My e-ring is from Fortunoff's so we went there to see if they had anything that 'matched'. I found that I love my e-ring with an eternity band. But Tiffany's and Fortunoff's told us the same thing. I think I am going to get one that looks like an eternity band, but is platinum on the bottom. I don't want to bang it and lose a diamond or anything. Plus I tried on one that had enough diamonds (15) that looked like an eternity band.

I have one and love it! I would not choose differently if i had to do things over. The downside is that I have cracked 4 diamonds in it (it dropped and fell on my tile and it must have cracked there) but I have connections in the diamond busniess so it didn't cost me anything to have the stones replaced. The look is beautiful but there is the risk of cracking stones. If you have the ring insured, the stones would be covered. Look around and see if you change your mind, but personally I would recommend it! I always get compliments on it!

im getting one and my step mom has the same one i am getting. we both had the diamons go all the way around except for a space for two diamonds on the bottom so resizing wouldnt be a problem and no one ever sees two missing on the bottom

if you have homeowners or renters insurance, the ring might be covered. it is always wise to insure good jewelery.
