my new gown is off-white. Should I change the shirt color for the guy's tuxes?

white might be too bright but ivory is too dark. Do they usually have like something in between?

hmm.. the lace on my dress is the same color as yours. I haven't given thought to the color of the guys shirt.

Btw, did you get a swatch of your dress? At least the color (apparently pronovias doesn't give swatches of the lace itself).

my dress is off white. i havent given the tux place a sample.. cuz i just went to my 1st fitting. but if u can.. get a sample piece of ur dress.. and they will match the vest. i wouldnt worry about the other guys.. u should just match your fh.

my tux place has about 50 diff shades of white . so im sure your place does, too.

I had FH in white b/c my dress isn't completely Ivory and I changed it b/c next to me; my dress looked 'dirty'....the ivory on the shirts is more of an off-white then 'cream' ivory

My dress is ivory and champagne so it may be a different contrast than an all invory dress but we are still doing white shirts for groomsmen. My friends have only done white in the past and I've never noticed it looking strange.

I'd say veil and shoes are much more of a priority

my gown is 'light ivory' but FH is wearing a white shirt. I agree with the problem that a darker color can look 'dirty'... I think white always looks sharp

My dress is ivory and the ivory shirts looked too dark, not pristine, imo. We are getting diamond white shirts instead.

My dress was off white and the guys wore white shirts with their tuxes. Their are pics in my albums, but I don't think there was any problem.
