I am looking at a summer 2010 wedding on a thursday night but need any estimates to go off of... even if you were quoted for a different time period or day... please tell me if that number included tax and service charge or not

I've already called, literally, over 60 places. These halls I have listed, I called about three times each, never anyone available to speak with and never got called back, so I figured I'd use LIW to help since I am called-out at this point.

I was quoted 150pp with out tax and gratuities for a Friday night in May @ the Royalton. Defiantly worth it after seeing it but out of my price range.
I did not visit the other places.

For a Saturday night wedding in the summer of 08, we were quoted $95 p/p w/ a $75 person minimum at the Irish Coffee Pub, tax and gratuity not included.
While we ultimately decided to go with a place with a bit more outdoor ambiance, they were really so nice and accommodating, and their basic package included many items that would have been considedered upgrades at other places, such as filet mignon and baby lamb chops, etc. I wound up having my bridal shower there, and food and service were outstanding!

for the metropolitan on a sunday in october it was 80-85pp before tax and tip....prob a little less on a thursday...they just did some renovating! my uncle got married there and everything was great! HTH! xo

The prices I was quoted June/July 2010 at Fox Hollow in the WGP is Friday Eve $80, Saturday Day $72, Saturday Eve $95, Sunday Afternoon $72 and Sunday Eve $70. Min guarantee for during the day is 100 and in the eve min guarentee is 110. We are also getting married at the Fox Hollow $750 for ceremony space which includes flowers etc and the clergy is $400.

updated list: riviera - $92 for a fri/sun in Oct, $120ish for Sat night the woodlands- Over $120 irish coffee pub-x fox hollow inn- $65 for a fri in dec. $85 for sat in dec, vetros- never heard of them.

Vetro, is owned by Russo's on the Bay. You have to go and meet with them at Russo's. I was quoted a price of about 90-95 dollars for a Friday in May. Price will prob be lower in the winter.

Vetro, I recently found out from Mr. Russo himself, is a maximum of 90 people and the menu prices were the same as Russo's for Saturday evening Sept 2011 (125 pp for premier, 140 pp for signature, 15 extra for venetian) .
the BM we originally met with told us Vetro would hold 130-140 max. Not happening, apparently.

For a Saturday night in Oct./Nov. 2010:
Riviera quoted me $89-$95 per person before tax and gratuity.
Fox Hollow quoted me $100 for Oct. and $95 for Nov. before tax and gratuity.
