does anyone have b4 and after pics of a finished basment?

We are seriously considering finishing our unfinished basement. If, you recently refinished your basement how was the whole process? I remember when we remodeled our kitchen and it was pure hell for aprox 1 month, but sooooo worth it once the work was done. So what's your opinion on finishing the basement? Is it worth the hassle and $$$?

We are in the process now, so I don't have 'after' pics yet. I personally think it is worth it to finish a basement. Our basement is practically the size of the upstairs, so once it is done, I have a lot more space to entertain and live in. I also think that it brings up the value of your house ... it's definitely a good selling point!

no pics since we're not home owners yet but wanted to add that it is a huge plus when trying to sell. We're looking at houses now and it's a plus #1 to even have a basement! #2, if it's finished, or at least partly finished, all the better.

Especially if the house isn't enormous, the basement can be used as a playroom, entertainment area, storage, etc.
