Does anyone have Cingular cell phone service?Who do you have?
How are they? Does it work well on Long Island and Manhatten? Looking to get 2 phones and the guy in the store recommended Cingular. I wanted to get opinions.

my husband and I both have it. We used to have Nextel. I like Cingular...but loved Nextel. I loved the direct connect feature on Nextel but didnt like the prices!!!
My husband and I do not use our phones that much but when we do, have not had a problem

Really? I want to get two phones under the family plan and I'm not sure who to go with. Anyone prefer at&T or Verizon?

My DH and I use Verizon... we have a really affordable plan and cute phones (they had a buy-one-get-one-free special, plus a $50 rebate, so both phones only ended up being $40). No problems thus far! My sister has Cingular and hasn't had any problems with her, but her phone features act up every now & then, she says (keys stick/lock-up).

I have verizon and just added a phone for FH. Everyone is my family (mom, dad, sis, brother, SIL) all have verizon. It's great...you get the 1000 mobile to mobile minutes, unlimited nights and weekends so whenever I need one of them, their cell is the fist thing I call and vice versa. I live in NJ and they live on LI and dad works in Brookly...no problems with service or anything.

I would go with AT&T or Verizon. They are the two best phone services out there now. Cingular is horrible....Right down there with T mobile. Both garbage cellular services in NY.
I have AT&T for the past year now and I love it. My plan is up in December and I am going to stick with AT&T, I just want a new free phone.
I used to have Sprint and I always got dropped calls, and I didnt always have service...It was horrible.

I currently have AT&T but I can cancel at any time since my contract ran out. I just don't know anyone who has Cingular so I think maybe I should stick with AT&T or Verizon.

I had at&t for 3 years they were soso I Have T-mobile and have never had any problems. I have a cool Camera phone!

I have Verizon - have no problems at all. In the past I had the nextel service and that thing never worked!

This is what my hubby does for a living and all I have heard is horror stories with Cingular.
