does anyone have pets or want any pets when married

i have one cat he is about 17 years old....

i would love a dog when i get married but FH is allergic to animals so we will see....

FH and I would both love to get a dog but we know that we are not able to commit to the time it takes. We like to pick up and go too much and it would be hard to do that with a dog. Hmmmmmmmm .........................we are probably gonna have the same problem with kids........LOL

Drew wants a dog, but my rule is we need a house first. We already have two cats. NJ doesn't really let you have pets in apartments. We lucked out w/this apartment - though it cost $250 for the pet fee.

she's hypoallergenic too. since she has no undercoat. more hair than fur so she doens't have the dander that some people are allergic too.

She is famous. She has a dogster page (think of it as myspace for dogs).

yeah fh and i talked about this and were definitely getting a dog, cant wait ...we'll never be able to have cats bc fh is allergic, and even with certain dogs too so we can only have certain dogs so probably a maltese, shitzu or poodle since they are hypoallergenic

well you're all aware i ADORE my dog, and FH has a cat - his name is romey and he's i think 10yrs old great cat!

They are both morkies. Intentially a mutt. haha. No seriously they are maltese / yorkies. She loks more like the yorkie, while mine looks more like a black maltese. they luv each other.

I was inspired & started a pet thread . check it out & add your pups

FH & I are cat lovers. We tried to take care of a dog and it just wasnt for us. I looooove dogs but like someone else said, the commitment to one is like having kids.
