yes its done by hand. You'll have to email her only because I got a discount since she is a friend of a friend. Her work is great though.

No. I don't know anyone in nassau or suffolk. Are you artistic at all or good at tracing?
I'm having my invites done professionally and she's expensive, but my escort cards I'm doing myself with a 'lightbox' tracing method, a nice font, a dip pen and ink.
I'm practicing at the moment and I think its looking pretty good for a few practice tries. If I could've found a matching font for my invites, a nicer nib, matching ink, I might have done that.
My escort cards don't have to match so I've decided I'm just tracing a nice font onto them.

If you are open to having computer calligraphy, the company that we used is called weddingink.net. I think they did a fabulous job and highly recommend them.

I just heard back from them and they are not expensive at all and also Lauire in Hicksville 516-319-1309 is not alot either
