Does anyone know anything about taxes????

As most of you know I work at 2 different dance studio's, at one of them I get paid by check (I'm hired as an independent contractor). Now I do my own taxes (turbo tax style ) and I'm not sure exactly how to claim what I made at that one studio. I won't be getting a 1099 from them because I didn't make enough money from Sept. to Dec. to be given a 1099.

Can anyone give me some sort of direction on how to claim what I made from that studio? What forms I need to fill out? Thanks!

try giving a call to the IRS. Maybe they have a help line and they can tell you what forms to use.

Im sure they would be glad to give you help knowing that you may owe them some money! LOL

You are VERY correct....do you possibly know where would I find the number?

there should be a prompt from TT that asks 'do you have any other wages to report?'

when you are using turbo tax, it should ask you
Do you have any other income to report
, then it should ask if you received a 1099 and say no
you should then be prompted to enter what you made

Oh ok, that's sounds alot easier than I thought it would be. Ugh now I have to try and figure out how much exactly I made.
